Andrey brings over 20 years of extensive experience in Capital Markets to Falcon Advisory Group.

Previously serving as Portfolio Manager (PM) and Chief Investment Officer (CIO) at Signet Capital Management, he successfully managed Fixed Income and Global Macro Funds, both of which garnered multiple nominations by Eurohedge as the best in class and the best new funds of the year. His funds were further recognized as the Most Consistent Hedge Fund, Best in Class, and The Fund of the Year by International Business Magazine.

From 2014 to 2015, Andrey served as the Head of Portfolio Management at BCS Asset Management, further solidifying his expertise in investment management. Prior to this, between 2011 and 2014, he held the role of PM and co-owner of the Spectrum Stratim Debt Fund, which also received numerous nominations from Eurohedge and Barclay hedge.Before his tenure at Spectrum, Andrey gained valuable experience working as a trader and PM at leading Russian investment companies. He holds a degree from the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology, graduating in 1999.

Alexey Filatov has over 17 years of experience in financial markets, especially focused on hedge funds and brokerage business.

Prior to joining Falcon Advisory Group, he served as COO of the Signet Group. From 2006 to 2009, he led the operations of the Marcuard Spectrum Group, which manages hedge funds with a focus on CIS Region. From 2009 to 2012 he worked as the operational director of Spectrum Partners and during that period was promoted to head of execution. Between 2015 and 2018 he headed dealing on own account department and later brokerage in Fintailor Investments.

Between 2017 and 2018 Alexey was head of brokerage in Wise Wolves Finance. Alexey holds a Bachelor degree in Finance and Credit, and Financial Management from the Russian Economic School and the Institute of Stock Markets and Management. Alexey has Advanced Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission Certificate.

Dr. Maxim Shashenkov is a senior business executive with 30 years successful career in investment banking, wealth and asset management, private equity, and VC funds. Maxim started his career in the emerging markets team of Merrill Lynch (London) in 1994. In 1998, he joined Alfa Capital Markets as head of equity business, and one year later became the Member of the Board of Alfa Bank.

In 2000 he was appointed by the Board to develop capital markets business in newly created Alfa companies in London and New York and made international equity business for the Bank one of the most successful in the Russian Federation at the time. He later served as head of equities at Gazprombank, and Uralsib Bank, always with strong focus on personal work with key clients in investors. In 2015, Dr. Shashenkov moved to wealth and asset management business in senior roles for PIM Asset Management and later EFG Private Bank in Geneva and London. In 2020, he joined VPE Capital, a private equity fund funded among others by Mubadala SWF of Abu Dhabi, where he was responsible for capital raising and business development. Most recently, Maxim ran his own consulting and VC business in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA).

Maxim holds British and Russian passports and has resident permits in the UAE and KSA. He is fluent in English, Arabic, and Russian. He holds a Master’s in Middle Eastern Studies and Arabic Language from the Moscow State University and a Doctor of Philosophy in International Relations from the University of Oxford. A keen Arabist, Maxim is an author of numerous articles on the international affairs of Russia, Central Asia, and the Middle East.

Maxim Semianin has over 10 years of experience in asset management.

Prior to joining Falcon Advisory Group, from 2020 to 2023 he worked as a portfolio manager at Signet Capital Management. From 2012 to 2020 he was Portfolio Manager and later a Director of Investment Management department at Solid management, where he was responsible for Mutual and Pension funds and algorithmic trading strategies.

Maxim graduated from the Financial Academy under the Government of the Russian Federation with a degree in Mathematical Methods in Economics.

Evgeny Shatrov has over 18 years of experience in financial markets. Before joining Falcon Advisory Group, Evgeny worked as Head of Trading and Executive Director at Signet Group and prior to that as Senior Trader at Sberbank CIB in Moscow, Nicosia and London, managing the prop book. From 2009 to 2013, he worked as an equity trader at Morgan Stanley, covering Russia and EMEA region. From 2006 to 2009, he was a senior portfolio manager at Renaissance Insurance Group and Uralsib Asset Management.

Evgeny holds a PhD from Institute of World Economy and International Relations (RAoS), a BSc in Financial Management from International University in Moscow and a BA in International Business and Spanish from Washington & Jefferson College.

From 2021 to 2023 Daria was the Head of Investor relations at Signet Capital Management.

Today she heads up investor relations and client services at Falcon Advisory Group, supporting our customers across our full product range.

Daria holds Honours Degrees in Economics and Sociology as well as an M.A. Degree in the Psychology of Personnel Management from the State Education Institution of Higher Professional Education.
